The Brinell hardness test shall be carried out in accordance with EN IS0 6506-1, on the outer face of either sml pipes or a sample taken from the SML cast iron pipe.The surface to be tested shall be suitably prepared by means of light local grinding and the test results shall conform to Table 1.
