Two materials, two strategies — both audit-ready.
Ductile pipes and fittings (EN 545 / EN 598) live or die by the melt, so we control from the source: Q10/Q12 pig iron and nodularizing cored wire are segregated at the yard, each batch matched to a mill certificate (S ≤ 0.05%, P ≤ 0.08%). Incoming lots are re-inspected; retained samples retested on-site by metallographic analysis.
Gray iron drainage (EN 877, ASTM A888) is judged on finished mechanical properties — tensile strength and Brinell hardness. Purchased pipes arrive with batch-matched samples (spectrographic, metallographic, hardness, tensile) plus certificates, re-verified on arrival; records chronological. Our lab also random-samples pipes and fittings, documenting every run with photos and video.
One foundry, two gates: chemistry before the melt, performance after the cast. The records speak.
Request the batch QC dossier with your RFQ — verify before you commit.
