On February 21, a batch of 3000 ton of ductile iron pipes, which is Dinsen’s first order following the Chinese New Year holiday, has successfully passed the quality inspection by Bureau Veritas, ensuring quality before shipment to our valued customer in Saudi Arabia.
Bureau Veritas, a distinguished French company established in 1828, stands as a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services (TIC), emphasizing the paramount importance of quality assurance in the manufacturing sector.
The test confirms mainly that the ductile iron products confirm to BS EN 545 standard, a British Standard that specifies the requirements and test methods for ductile iron pipes, fittings, and accessories intended for the conveyance of water for human consumption, raw water prior to treatment, wastewater, and for other purposes.
Critical parameters encompassed within this standard include material requirements, dimensions and tolerances, hydraulic performance, coating and protection, as well as marking and identification.
