Saudi Arabia Launches Anti-Dumping Probe on Indian Ductile Iron Pipes

Riyadh, July 24, 2025 – The General Authority for Foreign Trade (GAFT) of Saudi Arabia announced today the launch of an anti-dumping investigation into certain INDIA ductile iron pipes originating in or exported from India. This decision, issued pursuant to Article 4.1 of the International Trade Remedies Act of 2022, authorizes GAFT to take trade remedy measures. SAUDI  Ductile iron pipes, a crucial component in municipal water supply, drainage, and industrial conveying systems, have long faced price pressure from overseas manufacturers, particularly those in India. Preliminary data indicates that imports of these DI pipes from India have increased significantly over the past three years, yet prices have remained consistently below the market average, raising concerns about market distortion.
